Julia graduated from the University of Manchester, UK, in 2006 with a degree in Ancient History.

Before joining Textiles Intelligence, Julia worked as an editorial assistant at Datamonitor -- a business intelligence company -- where she specialised in editing, writing and proofreading news and reports on the financial services industry.
